WOW!!!!!!

My partner out did herself. Thank you, Eva!!!! I got Swiss miss hot chocolate and some from Starbucks, I can't wait to try it. I also got a box of Mini Peanutbutter cups,, MMMM!!! Those were gone the first night. Eva, sent me a yarn cutter and a set of stitch markers. I just started knitting and didn't have any of those. Thank you so much for the sock yarn and the two sets of needles I can't wait to get started on a pair of socks. I found a web site that gives step by step pictures of how to make socks. OHH Yeah !! there was the box of Ghirardelli chocolate. I had to fight my daughters off of that when the box came my daughters and grandchildren were here. That is were the buddys went Eva made two buddys one for each of my new grandchildren. Katie kept taking Jr.'s away from him. That was so funny both of the children loved them Thank You so much, Eva!!!!!!

Hot Cocoa Swap topic #3

What is the most 'random' memory you have from your childhood? I know it's not knitting content, but I love learning about the little quirks and interesting things about people!

I guess it would be that when I was about 3-4 years old my mom left me with my dad while she went somewhere. When she came back my dad had me up on the roof while he did some repairs. My mom about had a heart attack when she seen me but my dad was very sure that I wasn't going to fall because he had nailed my dress to the roof. The only way that I was going any where was without my dress. LOL

Hot Cocoa Swap Topic #2

"Now that we're in the thick of 'Winter'... has your knitting changed to match the season? Are you moving on from dishcloths, and tank tops to afghans, hats and mittens? Has your yarn changed from silk or cotton to wool, superwash or heavier cottons?"

My crocheting doesn't change year round I just crochet afghans when I'm at home. The afghans that I do are crochet in one piece and too big to carry with me. My husband keeps my house so cold that I have to do afghans to keep warm. LOL When I'm traveling anywhere I keep a tote bag with a small project to work on.

I live in Florida and we haven't really had a winter yet. It has been about 75 degrees most of the winter here.

The stitch markers can come off and be used were ever you find yourself at. You can also change the stitch markers out for your favorite ones if need be.

This one is going to be sent to my secret partner in the Hot Cocoa swap. Is it coming your way??

These are two more Afghans that was made for Christmas presents this Christmas. The Bobby Jack afghan I made for my niece, she looks Bobby Jack and that is the color of her new bed set that she got just before Christmas.

The Circles was made in three days to put in the family Christmas party swap and steal game that we play every Christmas. My niece ended up with this afghan too. She loves my afghans. She stole and begged everybody for this one.

I love crocheting it is so relaxing to me. Right now I'm working on some Blankets to sell during the Race weeks in Daytona during Febuary. I wonder how many I can finish before then. I have two started.
